Aurobindo gets FDA nod for generic Acular

A new generic treatment will soon be available for the temporary relief of ocular itching due to seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, and the treatment of postoperative inflammation in patients who have undergone cataract extraction.

The Food and Drug Administration has given its blessing to Aurobindo for ketorolac tromethamine ophthalmic solution, in a dosage strength of 0.5%.

Aurobindo’s product is the generic of Allergan’s Acular ophthalmic solution.
